Ashley Winter, M.D., is a board-certified urologist and one of the nation’s most visible and outspoken voices in sexual medicine. With a practice grounded in science and a communication style that’s refreshingly candid, Dr. Winter has earned a reputation as a trusted educator who helps break down taboos around sexual health—especially for women and people with vulvas.
She completed her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College and her urology residency at Cleveland Clinic, one of the top-ranked urology programs in the country. Her clinical focus spans female and male sexual dysfunction, urinary issues, genital pain disorders, and hormone therapy, with a mission to empower patients to understand and care for their sexual health without shame.
She is a staunch advocate for the use of vaginal estrogen to support urinary tract health and alleviate symptoms associated with menopause.
