Jen Ator is an award-winning writer and editor with 15 years experience covering fitness, wellness, health, nutrition, and travel. She is the former editor-in-chief of Women’s Running and former fitness director of Women’s Health, as well as the author of the book The Fitness Fix: Quick HIIT Workouts, Easy Recipes, and Stress-Free Strategies for Managing a Healthy Life.
Jen is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and five-time marathon finisher. In 2014, her journey to becoming an Ironman was documented in the award-nominated series “Mission Apolo: Built With Chocolate Milk.” Her work has been published in outlets such as GQ, Well+Good, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Runner’s World, Travel + Leisure, MindBodyGreen, Outside, and Livestrong. She has created content for brands such as Nike, ASICS, ArcTeryx, OrangeTheory, Precision Nutrition, and Withings.
Based in Colorado, Jen enjoys spending her free time cooking, camping, and traveling the world.
