Joe Rogan Shades Liver King: “He Did Something With His Abs”
Think there's any truth to Rogan's claims?
Think there's any truth to Rogan's claims?
After facing a lot of grief for lying about his use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs), Liver King is under fire once again. (Anyone keeping count of how many scandals have plagued this bro?)
The social media personality (real name: Brian Johnson) may have come clean about his steroid habit, since claiming he’s embracing a natty lifestyle, but his fans aren’t having it. Liver King is currently being sued for $25 million by followers who allege they were tricked into buying his supposed muscle-building “Ancestral Supplements.”
Another accusation from podcasting celebrity Joe Rogan might hurt more: Liver King had surgery to enhance his abs.
Because Liver King hates shirts more than Matthew McConaughey, his abs are constantly front and center, leading Rogan to take aim at them. On a new episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, political commentators Krystal Ball, Saagar Enjeti, and Rogan talk about Liver King’s skewed physique, Essentially Sports reports. While Rogan notes he was one of the first to call out Liver King for being “on the sauce,” he thinks there’s something else going on with Liver King’s body—beyond fistfuls of PEDs.
Specifically, Rogan suggests that the “Ancestral Tenet”-spouting behemoth has undergone surgery to achieve the particular, absurdly shredded ab definition: “I think something’s going on with his abs, too.“ That’s when he and his guests speculate about a potential surgery, but Rogan admits that he can’t confirm one happened and doesn’t know any details.
If this conjecture from Rogan et al. is accurate, the most obvious possibility is abdominal etching, a new cosmetic procedure that costs about $6,000 to $8,000. The latest version of the surgery, developed by Dr. Tarik M. Husain in 2019 as Insider reports, uses liposuction to essentially uncover the already existing abdominal muscles in your torso.
No one can really say what Liver King has done to his body except Liver King, of course. And if his past confession of steroid use is any indication, we may see him respond to Rogan’s ab surgery jabs in due time.
