Dr. Heather Swain, P.T., D.P.T., C.I.D.N., C.P.T. is a doctor of physical therapy with active state licenses in Ohio and Arizona. She has over seven years of experience in a variety of specialty areas including lifestyle medicine, orthopedics, geriatrics, chronic pain, pelvic health, aquatic therapy, neurological disorders, TMJ rehab, vasovagal disorders, and hypermobility connective tissue disorders.
Heather practiced in Arizona at a private practice outpatient clinic and worked part time in home health physical therapy. She has also served as a clinical instructor for a variety of universities, and has advanced training in dry needling (C.I.D.N.), Graston, and LSVT BIG for treatment of Parkinson’s disease. She works as a guest lecturer for the University of Toledo, and is the founder of Ally Total Physical Therapy—where she hopes to make quality health information accessible to all. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing gymnastics, reading, glass blowing, and more.
