Korey Van Wyk, M.S., C.S.C.S., Pn2 is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a master’s degree in nutrition. His career began in academia where he spent six years teaching nutrition, strength and conditioning, and health courses. In addition to teaching, he was also the head strength coach for six of the university’s athletic teams.

In 2021, Korey entered the publishing world, initially joining Human Kinetics as an acquisitions editor and now fulfilling the same role at Cognella Academic Publishing. He edits books on nutrition, exercise, and sports science, and partners with leaders in these fields to create applied and relevant resources for professionals and students.

His professional journey has also included nutrition research, personal training, presenting at conferences, writing articles, and hosting a podcast called The Performance Connection.
