Dr. Purdy’s expertise in digital healthcare has propelled the era of “concierge medicine,” with plans underway for the grand opening of her AFD medical spa in September 2023. Leading the charge, she manages a panel of over 25,000 patients nationwide while advising hundreds of telehealth startups on the cutting edge of virtual wellness.
Dr. Purdy has a BA in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude) from Ball State University. She pursued her medical education at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, followed by a family medicine residency at Georgia’s Martin Army Hospital.
For 14 years, Dr. Purdy served as a dedicated physician in the US Army. During her time as Battalion Surgeon, she embraced telemedicine to enhance the care of soldiers, and later, as a med/peds hospitalist at Fort Campbell, Kentucky Army Hospital, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Army’s expansive telemedicine networks. This expertise eventually extended to numerous private virtual health companies, where she replicated her success.
